Life seems so unfair!
Throughout Jack's life, Jack has had to overcome so many hurdles, being born, through no fault of his own, with a genetic structure of XXY, with the additional X chromosome.
Named Klinefelter's syndrome, it resulted in quite a lot of challenges, not least because it was not so well recognised like other autistic tendencies.
Klinefelter's syndrome includes, to various degrees, significant challenges in whole body development.
This was evident in his later years as Jack developed into a larger than life young man, standing at 6ft 5ins ir so, and heavyvwith it!
He often asked us "Why"?
Nevertheless, he coped with the ups and downs, in his own indomitable way which included a lot of humour, fun, affection and of course, his infectious smile.
It seems so unfair because Jack had settled in his own, independent flat at Ty Coedwig having around him everything he wanted. Lots of colour, with brightly covered walls and room lights, yet didn't get to enjoy it longer.
Thanks to the support he had at Ty Coedwig, he was enjoying life more had started swimming. So the family will forever thank them for making that happen. Moreover too for all they tried to do when Jack was found, attempting to keep him with us.
He has left a huge hole in our lives and he will forever be grateful for the short time he was with us.
A giant in every sense of the word and we are going to miss him so much.
Sleep tight our lovely boy!
Grandad.
